All About Us TOGETHER: We met while studying Egyptian hieroglyphic writing, and married on July 22nd at the end of the course. Celebrating our marriage on the 22nd of every month accounts for more than 556 anniversaries! We successfully collaborated in writing, designing, and illustrating 25 books and games produced by major publishers. Subjects include Egyptian hieroglyphs, Shakespeare, boxed games, puzzle and quiz books, astrology, card reading and card games, plus magazine articles. We have traveled to more than 126 countries. Some trips include New Guinea, Borneo, The Marianas Islands, Senegal, Tunisia, Cyprus, Jordan, and Malta. On our 30’ cabin cruiser we traveled 1000 miles round-trip from New York City to Ottawa via the Hudson River, the Erie and other canal systems. Other cruises were from New York to Maine, Chesapeake Bay, and Virginia. In addition we have enjoyed a hot air balloon ride over Masai-Mara in Kenya, a dirigible flight in the New York area, glider at Elmira, helicopters, Air Force cargo and jet-refueling airplanes, traveled on the Concord (as courier), and rode on a NASA-mission flight from South Africa to Florida testing remote-control operation, with a 24-hour mid-Atlantic stopover at Ascension Island. JOSEPH SCOTT: Graduate of New York University (B.A., Economics), N.Y. Institute of Photography, Manhattan School of Printing, Control Data Institute (Computer programming & operations) Founder and manager of Arrow Letters Corporation, a 15-person commercial printer and lettershop. Sold to have more time for writing and traveling. Newspaper writer, editor, photographer: Buffalo (NY) Courier-Express, Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch, and the Newark (Ohio) News. Magazine editor and writer: Standard Magazines, Better Publications. U.S. Air Force (Retired due to wartime injury caused by airplane collisions): Entered military service as a private; then worked up through the ranks to major. While enlisted: staff photographer; as officer: group adjutant. .LENORE SCOTT: Graduate: Cooper Union School of Art [Painting]. Owned and operated a successful New York City graphic design service for 22 years. Created and operated Manhattan Plaza Theatre Desk, a 75-person volunteer organization obtaining and distributing complimentary tickets for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, concerts, cabarets, operas and sports events. VOLUNTEERING: We are active at the American Museum of Natural History, New York Museum of Modern Art, New York Public Library, and New-York Historical Society. We also were part of the team shooting the AARP monthly programs shown on 75 public-service channels in New York State, operating TV control room equipment and TV cameras in the studio. In addition, we usher at numerous Broadway and off-Broadway shows
